Hello everyone and happy late Valentine’s Day, in loving memory of one of our beloved George students who created Validation Day was one of George’s many exceeding students, Victor Diaz. He wanted to show appreciation to all students and teachers spreading encouraging and loving notes to show courtesy and the same love that couples were receiving. The goal behind Validation Day was to try and get a note to the whole school by the end of the day. Victor was a sweet and loving person coming from his friends, family, and also his George family. As well as those who knew of him at GW. Lots of people who knew Victor knew that he didn’t want to spread anything but kindness and this is very heartwarming for those who may not have a loved one or are healing from a breakup. The purpose was to feel loved. I just wanted his creative ideas to not go unheard or unnoticed since he is no longer here and I hope that everyone has a good Valentine’s Day or had a good one. He also contributed with the school thinking of the idea that valentine’s day is the day for love and he wanted everyone to feel that.
